Buying guide
Getting a good price on diapers that fit
Find the size and line that work for your baby, then compare the actual diaper count. A bigger box can contain fewer diapers in a larger size.
Start with weight, then check the fit
Pampers recommends using weight as the starting point for size, then checking the waist and leg openings. Tight tabs or gaps around the legs are reasons to reassess fit. Use the chart for the brand and line you’re buying.
A size number alone isn’t a fit guarantee across brands. Try a smaller pack when changing lines before committing to a bulk box.
Use the count for the selected size
Divide package price by the total diapers in the order. A case of three 32-count packs contains 96 diapers. Check the count again after choosing a size on the retailer’s page; the product photo may show another size.
For the same size and line, price per diaper is the useful starting point. Keep one-time purchases separate from subscription offers, and include delivery costs when checking out.
Buy what you expect to use in this size
Use your own recent diaper use to estimate how long a box will last: diaper count ÷ diapers per day. That estimate is more useful than a generic promise about how many months a size lasts.
If fit is already getting tight, a smaller box can save you from leftovers even when a bulk pack costs less per diaper.
