Buying guide
Choose daytime training pants or nighttime underwear first
Pull-on products cover different jobs. Decide what you’re buying them for before comparing the cost per pair.
Keep these product types separate
| Type | What to match |
|---|---|
| Training pants | The daytime training line and its size chart. |
| Nighttime underwear | The overnight line and its weight range. |
| A familiar product refill | The exact line, size, and count. |
Pampers sells Easy Ups as training pants; Goodnites uses a separate nighttime-underwear size guide. Don’t assume a toddler-size label and a letter-size label describe the same fit.
Use the chart on the current package
Follow the weight range and fit guidance for that line. A label such as 3T–4T is a size name; it doesn’t replace the manufacturer’s chart. Try a smaller pack before switching brands or buying a larger size in bulk.
Compare the cost per pair
Divide the package price by the total pairs in the selected size. A bundle of four 20-count packs contains 80 pairs. Larger sizes can have fewer pairs per pack, so recheck the selected option before paying.
If you use a separate product overnight, compare its cost per night rather than averaging it into the daytime pack.
